Girls day out

Yesterday I spent the day with Maria and Monica cruising the antique stores in downtown Glendale. What fun that was! I've never been down there and it was great to get the grand tour from a people who knew where all the good stuff was hiding. I didn't buy anything, but it was so cool to look around and spend the afternoon with friends. I saw some really cute things in some of the shops that I'm going to have to try making myself. We are hopefully going to get together this weekend to do some crafting. I'm really looking forward to it.

Hey there, I like your blog! I clicked ADD in my interests box and up popped your blog, it is always interesting to read about what others are doing to help their kids with ADD. I had to learn mostly on my own how to deal. Keep up the good work! BTW if you don't mind I am going to follow your Twitter blasts (if that's what they are, I just discovered them when I clicked your "something shiny"), and your posts :).

I'm glad you are enjoying it. That's pretty much why I started blogging. I had to learn the hard way myself, and I'm dedicated to trying to learn as much as I can so my daughter can have it easier. I hoped that by sharing my thoughts and experiences other parents and children would have an easier time of it too.
